Our arts editor recently covered all eight productions running in this year’s UW Drama UpStart Festival. Here are some summaries of all eight shows:


<strong>Less Than Three</strong>

Summary: A comical story pondering the question of love and what it really means.


<strong>Bambino</strong>

Summary: The discovery of an abandoned baby runs roughshod on the morning of a group of passersby.


<strong>The First</strong>

Summary: A pantomine exploring a number of firsts in a new relationship.


<strong>The Testimony of Sister Veronica</strong>

Summary: A nun is tried for heresy after daring to question the teachings of the church.

Summary: A trip through the lives of a couple with major communication issues.


<strong>Crows in the Dream Time (the biggest Murder)</strong>

Summary: The story of two women and their journey into the dream world of crows.


<strong>Signs of Life</strong>

Summary: A down-on-his-luck student asks for a sign to help him pass his driving test.


<strong>Fake Plastic Trees</strong>
